Football
U-13 Football: Our U-13’s took part in a highly contested football blitz in Littleton and were very unlucky not to progress to the next round. We have plenty of promise heading into the hurling championship.
U-11 Girl’s Football: Our U-11 girls gave a superb display in Dúrlas Óg in their football blitz. Winning three of their four games was unfortunately not enough but they can take heart from an excellent performance.

First and Second Class
1st and 2nd class had a great time playing at a recent football blitz in Dr Morris Park. There are lots of future stars in the class!
Cross Country County Championships 2017
Boys and girls from 3rd to 6th class represented our school in Thurles Crokes in the County Cross Country Championships. Well done to everyone who took part in training for the event and the event itself. Aaron Moore blitzed the rest of the field in his 1000m race, leading for almost all the race, powering home to first place. He was closely followed by classmates Micheál O Mahony, Adam Spillane-Leane and Stephen Dwan, earning the school a team medal. Well done to Martina Creedon and James Lloyd, who were also medal winners in the 3rd/4th class races.
Third and Fourth Class Soccer Blitz
3rd and 4th class took part in a soccer blitz in Peake Villa. It was an enjoyable day for all.
